Installing Linux on chrombook

Summary of the Issue

I plug in my usb Flash drive I already used ruffus to flash in zorin is 18 I plug it in to my chrombook open it up and click esc then I go into the boot menu it dosent show up my usb Flash drive so will I have to use a another software or because I’m having trouble

FAQ says to unplug/replug the USB on the main menu, wait 3s, then check boot menu again.
