Inquiry about reversing from UEFI to stock ChromeOS

Hey everyone,

I’ve been reading up on the Chrultrabook Docs, thinking about switching up things with my Chromebook and I have a question about this line about UEFI firmware.

“Completely removes the ability to run ChromeOS (and ChromeOS Recovery Mode), creating a small risk of bricking your device”

Not sure I understand the line, does it mean that when the time comes to resell my device can I still do the steps to revert my Chromebook to stock ChromeOS or not?

no, it simply means you can’t boot ChromeOS with the UEFI firmware installed. You can reflash the stock firmware and reload ChromeOS at any time.
