I can't remove the WP screw on my Acer Chromebook R11 CB5-132T

Hello, I have absolutely no way to get out the stupid WP screw on my Acer Chromebook R11. They screwed it in too tight. That’s what happens when you use all your tools to screw in a screw as tight as possible. Yes, I’m talking to you, Acer. Anyways, is there any way to disable WP with the flashrom command? If not, is it possible to scrape away the contact metal stuff underneath the screw so the WP’s disabled? Thanks!

BTW, I have a Raspberry Pi at hand. I don’t have a SuzyQ though if that helps somehow.

that’s simply just not possible that it’s screwed in too tight to remove. It is possible that the screw material is soft enough that an improperly sized/shaped screw bit would damage the screw rather than loosening it.

What to do really depends on the state of your screw’s head, so let’s see what we’re dealing with here. While you can simply flash using the Pi, it would be better to remove the screw.

Well, it’s kind of already destroyed. I’ve tried the rubber band trick - no luck. I’ve tried a torque screwdriver - again, no luck. Even a drill led to no avail. It would be helpful if you could tell me how to flash it with the Pi because it seems like I’m out of luck.
