Hello, my girlfriend has a HP Chromebook x360 14b-cd0130wm (Nissa platform, JOXER board), she wants linux installed on it but I cannot disable the write protect.
I tried the unplugging battery method, but when I type in the sudo flashrom --wp-status command (in the V-2 Terminal in developer mode guest login) it says the protection is active on a Ti-50 chip.
Should I order/make a Suzy-Q cable or is this device a lost cause because it is not on the supported device list? It is currently running the latest version of ChromeOS, but I would like a full UEFI replacement if possible. Any help is appreciated!
