I cannot figure out how to disable write protect

Hello, my girlfriend has a HP Chromebook x360 14b-cd0130wm (Nissa platform, JOXER board), she wants linux installed on it but I cannot disable the write protect.

I tried the unplugging battery method, but when I type in the sudo flashrom --wp-status command (in the V-2 Terminal in developer mode guest login) it says the protection is active on a Ti-50 chip.

Should I order/make a Suzy-Q cable or is this device a lost cause because it is not on the supported device list? It is currently running the latest version of ChromeOS, but I would like a full UEFI replacement if possible. Any help is appreciated!

my site lists the WP mechanism and disablement method for all supported devices, better to reference that than guessing or trying random things that work on other devices.

JOXER is listed.
