Hi, I cannot get read and write protection to buzz off mine Chromebook, which is an YAHIKO-OPUT. I disconnected the battery and it spit out the message saying that the chips write protection pin must be set to an inactive voltage level to be able to change the write protection
not sure why you thought disconnecting the battery would do anything for your device, it won’t
we have extensive documentation which lists the WP disablement method for each device. read and follow it.
