Summary

Site may need to be updated. I discovered on two versions of the HP Chromebook 14 (both from 2018) with the SNAPPY board do not have WP associated with the battery, but with a screw instead, which was identifiable by the line going through the copper circle around the screw.

I did not have to remove the battery, but I did have to add -k to the curl command to bypass SSL certificate checking for the full ROM installation (even though the legacy option worked without it).

cd; curl -LOfk https://mrchromebox.tech/firmware-util.sh && sudo bash firmware-util.sh

MicroSD detection also confirmed to work.

This was the screw location that I removed. Incidentally, I was looking at the FALCO video as well, but it looks different from that one too.
