HP C14 G7 doesn’t disengage HWWP after soldering pads together and removing battery

that’s, um, a lot of solder. Why did you solder the pads next to the ones labeled WP? Why did you disconnect the battery?

I’ve had the same issue with some HP boards (Drawlat mainly) where a jumper didn’t disable HWWP. I don’t know why it didn’t work but I ended up using a Suzy Q or programmer in those cases.
