How do I update SeaBIOS?

I have an HP Chromebook 11 G4 & I noticed it was running SeaBIOS version rel-1.12.0 , how may I update this to the latest version?

~~On newer versions of ChromeOS, press the update tab and attempt to update the firmware from there.~~

I dont want to update ChromeOS, I want to update SeaBIOS

you learn to build and flash it yourself, and maybe get it working after a dozen or so tries.

This is a different laptop from the one i was asking prevously, this is a 2nd hand laptop. Also is it really needed to update the BIOS or is it okay as is?

you’re running someone else’s unsupported firmware from 2019. If it’s working fine, then leave it alone, but if you have issues then you’ll need to flash my UEFI Full ROM firmware in order for us to help you
