edit I opened it and I tried to short-circuit the WP jumper below the wifi thing I used foil with no coating and tape and ran flashrom --wp-disable but it said that parts of the write protection had been disabled
why do you think you need to do this? Where in the instructions does it say to do so?

bought some copper tape it worked but i installed the uefi firmware but the laptop is now bricked: Error running cmd: /usr/sbin/flashrom -p internal : boardmismatch=force --ifd -i bios -N -m coreboot_edl2-sasuke e-mrchromebox_20240914.rom /dev/null 2>&1 -o /tmp/ unintelligible the screen is really dusty so i cant see plus its red text on black background error text should be like yellow or sum
not sure what I’m supposed to do with this info. “The screen is really dusty” isn’t something I can fix. SMH.
If there’s an error flashing, the log is saved to /tmp/flashrom.log, which you should upload and link so we can see what happened. Red text for errors is pretty standard and looks pretty readable to me
Yellow is standard for warning, so using that for errors would be confusing.
