How do I disable write-protection on an HP 11a KAPPA Chromebook? (I know Chrultrabook doesn't support ARM)

I am trying to download Linux on an HP 11a-na0010nr Chromebook with FW code KAPPA but haven’t found whether I should bridge jumpers or disconnect the battery, and mrchromebox.tech is ambiguous. Which should I do? Thanks.

Kappa is a jacuzzi device. All of the jacuzzi boards I’ve worked on use the battery for WP, so that would be my educated guess

You also might not need to do more than enable developer mode. I never have on any Arm device I have had, though I have not used the exact same one as you. A mediatek 8183 Lenovo 10e and two Lenovo Duets. Granted, these are all tablets or convertibles so not easily opened up for the purpose, but the 10e hardware wise is extremely similar to yours.
