Having trouble getting 2024 Dell 3120 out of enterprise

I have this 2024 Dell 3120 Uldren chromebook that I got but it has enterprise enrollment and no matter what I do it won’t disable it. It seems to have a new firmware because it has a different ui. I’ve tried to boot it in developer mode but it just says booting in developer mode is not allowed. I’ve tried power washing signing in with a personal account but it always just re-enrolls.

not sure why you’d expect any of that to bypass enrollment

Worked for a Dell 3100 to powerwash, turn on developer mode, then sign in with personal account.

that works when enrollment was removed from the device, not when it’s still enrolled

If the solutions above didn’t work, you can go to recovery mode and press tab, then show/tell the kernver number. (ex: 6) After that, I can point you to instructions on how to do that method for that kernver number. (ex: Quicksilver (unenrolls devices with kernver 4-6))

I will do that ASAP.

Forgot to clarify some more things about the kernver.
It should look like this: kernver=0x0001000#
The number at the end of the string is your kernver version.
ex: kernver=0x00010006

Okay, its 0x00010006 so I will check out Quicksilver. Thank you!

Though I can’t seem to find it with Google .

Where I found the method was in a discord server named “Titanium Network”.
I could also provide instructions from here, if needed!

Yes, that would be great.

Make sure your version of SH1MMER is on or after Dec 15, 2025!!

Boot SH1MMER (using shimboot within “os verification is off” screen (esc + refresh + power))
Open payloads and select quicksilver
Go through setup and you should be unenrolled

If your version of SH1MMER is before Dec 15, 2025, then go the bash shell and put in this command: vpd -i RW_VPD -s re_enrollment_key="$(openssl rand -hex 32)"
