Flashrom suzyq unbricking error

Flashrom gave a “couldn’t parse the descriptor” error when flashing a W25Q128.W winbond chip on a HP chromebook 14a G5. I used a GSC Debug Board (aka "Chromebook Debug Cable" / "SuzyQ", for Cr50 / Ti50) | eBay cable and Ubuntu latest. rw is off and wires are properly connected and detected. Any help is appreciated.

RTFM

and if you have issues, provide the full command line used and the full output.

from what limited info you provided, I’m guessing you tried to use --ifd -i bios or similar on an AMD Chromebook, which doesn’t have an IFD.

I think your right, it seems to be working, currently flashing. btw is there a way to close a post, like the way github does it?

nvm its not booting, is there a way to log the boot?

Again I don’t see a command line showing us what you flashed and how you flashed it.

why do you continue to make us guess as to what you’re doing?
