Hello all, thank you for reading this. I want to make this very clear, I FULLY AND LEGALLY OWN THIS DEVICE. I purchased an old XE310XBA Samsung Chromebook 4, Bluebird model. However, it is stuck in forced network and hardware enrollment. No developer mode or powerwash, any attempt reformats and automatically enterprise enrolls. As I said before, I own this. It was sold to a shop and then to my shop, and I have absolutely no way to contact either the administrator or Google about it, neither are able to help me.
On this note, I have a lot of experience working with BIOS flashing and CH341A as well as the Linux CLI. Yesterday, I took the VPD, HWID, ME, GbE, and DESC from the target XE310XBA. I then injected them into the BIOS of another XE310XBA that is successfully running MrChromebox firmware. Upon flashing, with triple verification, no boot. I did the exact same thing but built a fresh custom coreboot.rom file and flashed that. Still, no boot. I put the original ChromeOS BIOS back onto the system and it boots fine.
What I’m looking for is something that takes this course of action. I don’t want anything about contacting Google or whatnot, I am fully ready to assume the responsibilities of any procedures, even if it ruins the device. The attempt at a successful jailbreak and use of this firmware is worth it. Does anyone have any advice? I’m willing to answer any questions.
