hi I’m trying to put chrome os back on my Chromebook 14 a, after installing the mrchromebox.tech full rom firmware, I took a bin file from crosstech I launch the cd curl command… I put the third option and it tells me this "An a error occurred restoring the stock firmware
I believe it is because ChromeOs failed flashing. Do what it says, because of you do YOUR DEVICE WILL be bricked. To fix this, rerun the script and try installing again. I do not know FOR SURE as this has not happened to me personally. If you can, keep it on untill you fix the bad chip by reflashing or using a debug cable. Stay safe and don’t panic, @JackDerryberry
simply the flash drive I used to flash I used cross tech but the model of my chromebook wasn’t right it was wrong and since I don’t have another Windows PC to flash the flash drive with the recovery utility what do I do?
