Hi guys,
I have booted into mrchromebox uefi for the first time on my Samsung galaxy Chromebook 2 with bugzzy mobo. The uefi is in portrait mode and subsequently so is the windows set up. Is there anything I can do about this or do I just have to wait until Windows is set up to change it. Either way the boot logo is always in portrait. Is there a solution to this? Thanks all.
Zaku
Update: now that I’ve set up windows 11 on the galaxy Chromebook 2 I have changed the orientation to landscape when it is in laptop mode. But as soon as I fold it into tablet mode the screen orientation dropdown becomes greyed out and when held in landscape orientation displays 90° rotated anticlockwise. When held in portrait it then rotates again to 90° rotated anticlockwise. I think it’s still to do with the rotation of the bootloader/uefi/firmware
I have pretty much all the drivers installed now too
yes, I know. I just don’t have the ability to fix ATM since Intel never released the Jasperlake FSP publicly
Oh I see, appreciate you mrchromebox. Thanks for making it possible
