I recently tried to install UEFI firmware on the Lenovo 500e Yoga Gen 4s. I was able to disable write protect using a SuzyQable, but the firmware util script does not recognize the device correctly, and the firmware options are greyed out. Is there a simple fix to correctly recognize the device, or is it just not supported yet?
what does this mean? post a pic of the script menu. post the diag log created by the script when it doesn’t recognize a device.
There’s a reason the documentation explicitly says over and over and over, that the make/model are irrelevant. Clearly you have not read the documentation carefully or you would have provided the information that does matter – namely, the device’s board name
