I did a few USB recoveries of my Chromebook. I think I’m on my 3rd.
I wanted to install RW_LEGACY for the 2nd time after a clean recovery.
Unfortunately the script hangs on the step where it says downloading and I assume flashing the bin file.
Here is the output of the “flashrom --wp-status” command. There is some error in the BIOS region. I am not sure if it is the cause:
Is there a way to correct it?

you’ve already (incorrectly) decided what the problem is and are looking for a solution in the wrong place.
it sounds like there is simply an issue downloading the file from the server, but impossible to tell from info provided.
you’re right. yesterday it hanged a few times on downloading. this morning i retried and after downloading, it says “Installing…”.
