EPAULETTE can't wake from sleep or dim display backlight

I recently installed Fedora 42 KDE on my EPAULETTE device using the RW_LEGACY firmware. I’m having a couple of major issues.

The biggest is that the device is either not sleeping or not waking up from sleep properly. After closing the lid or explicitly choosing go to sleep in the menu, the screen goes black, but I can’t get it to come back on. I have to force reboot the device.

Also, when the display is on, it seems to be a max brightness and I can’t figure out how to dim it. Using the keyboard shortcuts doesn’t do anything, and using the KDE brightness slider also doesn’t do anything.

Can anyone help with either of these issues?

Please let me know if I can provide additional information. Thank you.

install the UEFI Full ROM firmware

Thank you! I installed the UEFI firmware.

I can now control the LCD backlight brightness.

Sleep was still a little funky. The first time I woke from sleep, my mouse curser froze in place and I had to reboot to fix it.

I tried switching my suspend mode from deep to s2idle and sleep seems to be working perfectly now. I’ll report back if that changes.

The only problem now is that the device does not go to sleep when I close the lid. After searching around I think it could be related to this github issue.
