Entering developer mode without an enter key

Hello,

I’ve encountered a problem with my chromebook recently, about not working enter in the internal keyboard. I’ve wanted to bring back coreboot on it, but the entering Developer Mode requires enter key. I’ve tried using external keyboard but enter is rejected.

Any way to do a shortcut on the motherboard to somehow send an enter signal (without buying a new keyboard which is in the price of a chromebook itself)?
My chromebook is HP 11A G6 EE.
That’s how the keyboard port looks like:

Have you tried cleaning and reinserting the keyboard cable? Looks crooked to me

was reinserting it multiple times, this time is a bit moved since I’ve tried to do a shortcut but wasn’t been able to find a proper combination other than for power button, sound buttons or refresh.

Unfortunately I think a new keyboard will be your only option. Looks like you can get a used one for around $10.

Although the size may be different, if you just want to press enter any HP CB keyboard should work (I’ve used 11a g6/g8, 11 G6 through G9, 14 g5/6, x360 g1-3)
