Have installed windows 11 in my hp chromebook x360 sona laptop but how to enter into bios to enable haxm or hyper-V in the chromeos
there are no bios settings to enable such things. If the device supports it, it’s enabled.
But if i want to install android studio, it needs haxm to be installed, its saying an error asking me to enable hyper v in the bios, how it can be done
hyper-V is a Windows feature, not a firmware one. HAXM is software from Intel.
VT-x and VT-d are the virtualization features enabled in the firmware if supported by the hardware.

You can not “enable” HAXM or Hyper-V in the BIOS as they are not CPU features.
The CPU features are VT-x and VT-d, as MrChromebox already stated.
HAXM needs to be installed and the Hyper-V role needs to be enabled in Windows.

the instructions I linked say HAXM is deprecated and not to be used anymore.
and, like i I said before, it’s a piece of software, not a feature you enable in firmware (or anywhere else)

Its looking for you as if i am frustrating people over here, but you are not getting my point is even i am using windows pro doesnt help me to install, do you think that i haven’t saw all those google videos

i’ll try. but I’m on linux. i’m downloading android studio from flathub now. don’t know if it will run on 4GB memory.
did you check this. HAXM only runs intel cpu.
EDIT: fails to run on 4GB. Specs says 8GB.
