Dualbooting Arch + ChromeOS

Hi everyone, I got some questions
I’m trying to install Arch in a dualboot with ChromeOS on a Asus C425 (Leona) using the RW_LEGACY path

I don’t really know how exactly I should install GRUB for this. I tried the way I always do it (Target x86_64-efi, EFI partition mounted to /mnt/efi, GRUB config generated in /boot/grub/grub.cfg) which didn’t even show GRUB when rebooting

Did I miss something or do it wrong?

you’re installing an EFI on-disk bootloader and using a legacy BIOS firmware bootloader. That’s obviously not going to work as SeaBIOS has no idea how to boot anything UEFI

How would I install it then? I have never installed Arch on a Legacy system

that’s a question for the Arch wiki, no?

I don’t really think they know how i should partition everything on a Chromebook (considering I want to dualboot)

there is nothing distro specific about how you partition the device for dual booting. There’s also nothing specific to legacy or EFI, only where and what type of on-disk bootloader is used
