I’ve recently loaded Lubuntu into my Acer Chromebook 314 and I love it. The only issue I have is that the laptop powers on when the lid is open, and it’s apparently coming on when it ever so slightly opens in my bag while traveling.I’ve poked around in the BIOS and cannot find a section on power. Can someone help me to disable this please? Also, will this have any drawbacks?
there’s no option to disable this, it’s simply how Chromebooks work. Disabling would require making changes to coreboot and recompiling/manually flashing
