Summary of the Issue

The Chromebook boots then turns off when battery is disconnected but is being powered by an adapter

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Disconnected battery to disable WP

  2. 45W Wall adapter plugged in

  3. Boots, then turns off multiple times until I disconnect the adapter

Expected Behavior

Should have booted up normally

nothing can be done, some ECs/board designs simply don’t support booting without a battery connected

Seems like I’m stuck on RW_LEGACY, Not a big problem because I’m only using Linux

Btw, do you need to forcefully be on ChromeOS to use a suzy qable?

no, you can do it with Linux, no OS, etc.

just need to unplug batter when connecting cable use another device to run the commands in the cr50 console on ttyUSB0
