Installation of windows 10 wont continue because of no drives listed in the Windows Setup.

I tried clearing the nvram and updating the firmware and clearing nvram again, still wont detect the emmc device.

Before this happen the friend of mine says he only open a word application in Windows 10 then hang on then suddenly wont boot.

Created a usb from rufus using clean windows 10 iso GPT(UEFI).

In the boot menu the listed device only is UEFI SHELL and my flashdrive.

Sometimes emmc will show then when you reattempt windows setup it wont show in the drives list and will be gone again in boot menu.

Sounds like emmc failure?

I think so, couldn’t do anything can only boot to installer or boot to usb linux os.

Im not sure what to do for the emmc.

SOLVED: EMMC STILL FAILED, so I create a windows to go FLASHDRIVE vis rufus “WINDOWS 10.” Chromebook is useable now however Flashdrive needs plugged in everytime you used the chromebook.

As long as its working.
