Debian audio kernel

How & where may I get the debian kernel for audio & fixes?

HP Chromebook 11 G4 / KIP

why do you think a different kernel is needed?

Some devices need it since Debian’s kernel has some modules disabled, but I don’t see why a braswell device wouldn’t work OOTB.

because ive tried literally everything, UCM folders, newer kernels, audio-script, GalliumOS kernels (i probably set this up wrong tho) etc, so this is my last hope before just switching distros

Its a BayTrail Device & audio doesnt work sadly

Saying it doesn’t work without providing any info does not help

My bad, basically audio doesnt not come out, however my sound card is detected (sof-bytcht max98090)

@KTQ Try doing sudo apt install pavucontrol then run pavucontrol and go to “configuation” and try to switch your audio output and try playing audio

I have PulseAudio volume control alr, and I did try to switch audio output, no audio on all. (havent tested HDMI)
