Summary of the Issue

I installed the driver as said by the instructions and it is not working. After installation it appears in my device list drivers with a yellow sign. It is worth mentioning that there is also a dialog semiconductor 7219 codec and a Maxim98357a I2S amplifier controller. Also I would like to point out that the other drivers that were free work perfectly.

and when you go into the properties, it says what is the cause of that? can’t expect us to guess based on an exclamation mark.

Sorry my bad. Well, in properties it says: this device cannot start (code 10). License violation. The system has detected that the registered product type has been modified. This constitutes a violation of your software license. Modifying the product type is not permitted.

did you follow the directions to:

  • generate the unsigned license
  • upload it to the portal
  • download the signed license
  • install the signed license
  • reboot

that’s what is necessary for the sound drivers to work
