I’m running Windows on my HP Elitebook C1030 Chromebook (converted to Windows) and have been using the CoolStar SOF Audio (WDM) driver for sound. Everything was working fine, but today, out of nowhere, I lost all audio output from the built-in speakers and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Checking if the driver is still installed – it’s visible in Device Manager Restarting the laptop multiple times Testing Bluetooth audio – works fine Checking Windows sound settings – the device is selected correctly Updating/reinstalling the driver – no change
Unfortunately, I can’t check Discord for solutions because I haven’t been able to log into my account for over a year now. So, I’m hoping someone here can help!
I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and if there’s a way to fix it. Do I need to reflash the driver, or is there another workaround? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
