Chromebook stuck between Mrchromebox firmware and Chromeos, wont boot and display broken

System Details

  • Device: Lenovo Ideapad Gaming Chromebook 16 (FISK (Brya))
  • OS: None
  • Firmware Type: Broken UEFI full ROM
  • Firmware Version: MrChromebox-2603.1
  • Internal storage type: NVME

Summary of the Issue

I origionally flashed the chromebook with the full UEFI firmware, but a while later, i reverted back to chromeos by reflashing it using a suzyq cable. After a while, tried to reinstall the mrchromebox UEFI firmware again, and now the chromebook refuses to boot, with the only signs of life being the CPU heating up, fan spinning, and keyboard flashing for a second, with no other signs of life, also the display is broken, but when connecting to it via the suzyq cable, it can see some remnants of a broken Mrchromebox UEFI:

FMAP REGION: COREBOOT
Name Offset Type Size Comp
cbfs_master_header 0x0 cbfs header 32 none

If anyone has this chromebook to get the firmware from or has the firmware for this chromebook, that would really help

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install Mrchromebox full UEFI firmware

  2. revert back to chromeos using a suzyq cable

  3. try to reinstall Mrchromebox UEFI firmware

Expected Behavior

The chromebook booted with the new UEFI firmware, but that failed

your device is in an indeterminate state, and you have a SuzyQ. Just flash the UEFI firmware that way per the instructions.

do you know where i can get the coreboot.rom file for the chromebook? I dont see it on the website

the instructions on how to get the correct file are on my website along with the unbricking guide
