First day, first post, first problem. 
Short version, I either don’t have audio, or have squealing audio on my Samsung Chromebook Pro w Fedora 40.
More details: When no headset is plugged in, the only option is the Dummy Output. With headphones plugged in, they appear as an output option, but only send high pitched squeal. Headphones unplugged, it goes back to dummy output.
I have run the debugging tool. Pardon my ignorance, I have the output from the debugging tool, but cannot seem to find where to attach it to this post.
My sincere thanks for any info or guidance you can share.
