Hello, im very new to linux and I was wondering if anybody was able to help me with my audio issues I’ve been having.
Currently im using linux mint mate “zara” on a hp chromebook g6 ee. everything runs good except the bluetooth/audio.
When i try the weirdtreething script my audio card shows up but it says disabled and nothing works, when i try bluetooth it only connects for roughly a minute with no sound then it disconnects, the audio jack dosent work either, is there anyone that can help and i can give more necessary informatiom i would appreciate it
the chrultrabook docs tell you exactly what info to gather and even provides a script to do so
I guess my question is, is it possible on mint because I’ve done the script and rebooted and done what it said to do on the docs, but still i am unable to get audio and im unsure how to srot it out, The card that comes up in hardware is called Alsa card 0, its disabled. I’ve got these speakers working using fedora before but i was unsure if its possible with mint.
I have no idea if it’s possible.
I do know that the docs tell you how to gather the debugging info needed to determine what the problem is, and that’s what we need.
This looks like another language to me, i think ill just get an external audio card. Thanks though
I don’t see how downloading and running a script to generate the info needed to solve your problem is a bigger hurdle than anything you’ve done so far. You did manage to flash the firmware after all
