Chromebook 315 MAGMA PopOS audio not working

I installed PopOS with jumper method but I’m stuck with no audio problem. I tried to install audio script but its not working. Can someone help me please?

Have you opened pulse audio manager and checked if it can select a sound card through there? If you don’t have it installed, run

Sudo apt install pulseaudio

Open it and set to pro mode in config, then go to ‘output’ and select your card!

It should work after, if it doesn’t please let me know:D

Pop!os is Ubuntu based and Most Ubuntu based oses have built in audio compatibility through pulse!
I hope I helped ^

“Pro Audio” is a feature of pipewire that exposes each playback/record device of a sound card even without a profile. In the case of chromebooks with complex codec setups, you may have working speakers but not working headphones. You may not have a working mic. If your device has smart speaker amps then you may also not have working speakers. In all cases, outputs/inputs will not be labeled, outputs/inputs will not auto switch based on if a headset is plugged in or not, and any unused outputs/inputs will not be hidden. It is always better to use a UCM profile which defines how to control the codec and provides human readable names to outputs/inputs. If the UCM is not working for you, the debug script steps written in the docs will generate a collection of logs to figure out why it isn’t working.

Try to install Linux Mint Debian Edition and install “pavucontrol” from app market. Then you had to open Pulse Audio Control and select “Pro Audio” profile from configurations menu.
