After turning off my Chromebook’s battery, I plugged it into the power adapter, then pressed Escape, Refresh, and Power, then Control Panel. After turning off my Chromebook’s battery, I plugged it into the power adapter, then pressed Escape, Refresh, Power, Control + D, and Enter. Instead of booting into developer mode… It’s giving me this message What did I do wrong?

ESC+Refresh+power boots to recovery mode. That’s what you pressed, so that’s what it did.

if you’re trying to switch to Developer Mode, press CTRL+D, the confirm when prompted.

if you’re already in developer mode and trying to boot, power off the device, then power on and press CTRL+D on the developer mode boot screen.
