Summary of the Issue
When i follow the guide and try to enable ccd, it doesnt tell me to press any buttons, but instead tells me “ Your device is finishing an update. This may take 1-2 minutes. Please do not turn off your device.” This pops up a few seconds after i typed in “gsctool -a -o” in the command line.
Steps to Reproduce

Boot chromebook with power button while pressing esc and refresh

enabling dev mode

booting dev mode
-
pressing Strg, Alt and F2(back Arrow)

Console/terminal pops up

i log in as root
-
i type in the command “gsctool -a -o”

laptop turns black for a second and then displays: “Your device is finishing an update. This may take 1-2 minutes. Please do not turn off your device”

device reboots and disables dev mode, and resets the device.

after that to enable dev mode , i have to to throught the whole procedure again and wait like 5 mins.

Already repeated my steps like 4 times, with the same outcome every time
Expected Behavior
A new screen should pop up that would tell me to press the pp(physical presence) button several times. In reality it never happens, even after trying it countless times.
