I’ve followed the tutorial up to the point where I disconnected the battery to disable write protection, but when I turn the laptop on, the screen turns on for a little bit, then shuts down. This repeats forever.
When I enter recovery mode, it says that chrome OS is damaged or missing.
Any help is appreciated
steps must be followed in order:
- put device into developer mode via recovery mode)
- disable WP
- run script

Thanks for the reply. The device was in developer mode already.
Apparently I didn’t need to disconnect the battery to disable wp. I reconnected the battery and tried to run the script in the vt2 terminal anyway, and it worked.
