Cant flash firmware using a Suzy while bricked

Summary of the Issue

When trying to re flash firmware using a Suzy, it says WP is enabled. Even after disconnecting the battery and using a papercilp to bridge the jumper, WP is still enabled and I cant flash. Yes, the device is currently bricked.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Disconnected the battery and bridged the jumper

  2. Reconnected Suzy

  3. Tried to flash

Expected Behavior

The firmware should have flashed normally

I’ve never used a Suzy-Q cable before so I won’t be of much help, but can’t you disable write protection from the device that you connected the Suzy-Q cable to? Like, just run flashrom --wp-disable?

Probably because Lantis uses a jumper, not battery, as stated on MrChromebox’s site

Even when I use a paper clip on the jumper nothing happens
