Can’t boot Linux from sd card

When ever I try to boot Linux it says failed to verify it contains 64-bit Urdu os but I got the iso from Linux’s website, I am new to this stuff and I have never ran Linux before.

Chromebook acer r11 I am trying Linux cinnamon or mint I think, I am new to booting any thing with mrchromebox and I only got windows to work on it so far.

We need a bit more info:

  • What OS are you attempting to boot?
  • How did you prep the SD card for booting (Rufus, BalenaEtcher, if you don’t know what these are I’ll explain)
  • Are you using Ventoy (if not just don’t mind this question)
  • Also, “Linux’s website”?

I am trying to boot Linux mint cinnamon 64bit and I made it bootable with unetbootin, I don’t know what ventoy is, and Linux’s website Download Linux Mint 22 - Linux Mint

Ah I see, could you try using BalenaEtcher or Rufus on another computer and flash the USB drive again? Then boot into the USB drive and install your Linux distro (Mint) from there.

Yes thank you, that worked.
