Booting from eMMC device failed; verify it contains a 64-bit UEFI OS

This isn’t a be all end all, just something I’m slightly annoyed at and quite curious about- I get this error trying to boot my OS quickly.
Chromebook is a bloog, OS is LMDE 6 ran through RW_LEGACY. I’ve ran the audio script so it’s got the chrultrabook kernel, and I can boot it through both the EFI shell and using the boot from file option under edk2’s boot manager, I just can’t boot the lazy way. Why is this happening?

edit: I used to be on regular mint, and the default boot worked with that. This only happens now I’ve switched.

Thanks! I don’t know how I missed that :grimacing:. the command didn’t play nice because it made a directory called BOOTX64.efi instead of copying the file under that name (well… it actually copied grubx64.efi as an empty file, so I had to copy it again before doing anything else), but that was a fairly easy fix.
