/boot/vmlinuz is missing

Summary of the Issue

So I’ve a Chromebook 14a G5 db0003na with the Careena board. I ran the utility script and have the boot menu and when I select alternate USB it’s gives a /boot/vmlinuz is missing.

I’m trying install MX Linux 25.2 and I also tried 23.6 as I get errors on both. I flashed 2 different USBs with a DD image and it’s what I have.

Any ideas where I’m going wrong here?

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Boot into utility script

  2. Select alternative USB

  3. Get error

Expected Behavior

Be able to install Linux from USB
