why are you running a dead OS that hasn’t been updated in 7+ years?
are you running the latest firmware on the device? sudo dmidecode -t 0 will tell you the version/date, as I’m guessing you can’t run the script from GalliumOS due to it being outdated
Because when I was just starting down this road all of the articles referenced gallium as the go to chromebook OS for hardware compatibility and working out of the box. It was only after installing it I realized it was no longer maintained. Literally why I am trying to get to BIOS to install a different OS
Output of that commant:
SMBIOS 3.0.0 present.
Handle 0x0000, DMI type 0, 26 bytes
