I recently change the OS from ChromeOS to Windows 10 (via tiny10) and now i am not hearing any sound at all. i checked out Coolstar Website, and it’s does not have a sound driver for the BOBBA Chromebook. please send me help.
- I was able to find the drivers on CoolStar’s website for BOBBA
- Audio driver is listed as “CoolStar SOF (Intel) Audio”
- Tiny10 might not work with drivers due to potentially missing components, so if something won’t work on these “lite” versions of Windows, then you’re on your own.
Well if I can’t get audio for Tiny10, then what windows os should I get?
Normal windows…? From Microsoft…? Downloading from anywhere else is asking for more spyware on top of the Microsoft spyware
As stated by bluraf, if you use a 3rd party windows image, you’re on your own
ok so i change from Tiny 10 to Windows 11 which i got from the Microsoft website. so now i have to get the audio drivers you just remembered. right?
Correct. If you need a debloated windows install, give 11 enterprise iOT ltsc a try. It’s a debloated version of windows supported by Microsoft and by us.
the version i got is Windows 11 Pro. and i used a autounattend.xml file to debloat and bypass the OOBE after the install. and before you ask, i watched a video on youtube. called “The Perfect Automated Windows 11 Install USB.” from CyberCPU Tech.
