Audio issues running Manjaro with Pulseaudio on OMNIGUL

No, because I have since deleted it. I only kept around the firmware and topology files.

Edit: The files that I’d need to modify on my Linux installation reside in /usr/share/alsa/ucm2/conf.d/sof-rt5682/, those being HiFi.conf, rt5682-headset.conf, rt5682-init.conf, and sof-rt5682.conf.

What distro are you using? I’m using fedora but those directories do not exist.

Manjaro. Wasn’t it obvious enough?

Oh yeah how did I miss that.

PSA

The latest stable Manjaro update of Aug 20 took down the sound card and I was only able to restore audio via a snapshot. I couldn’t pinpoint exactly what led to this incident since both wireplumber and sof-firmware were already on their latest version before the update and pipewire only received a bug fix (maybe there was more to it, idk). Here’s the list of all the packages which were updated.

Do not update, unless you have system recovery set up and wish to debug the issue.

The second thing in that update list is alsa-card-profiles. Don’t forget Manjaro is known for being a tad unstable.
