Asus CN60 i7 wont detect mSATA drive on PCIE slot (replacing the wifi card)

does anyone know why CN60 with i7 won’t recognize msata drive plugged into wifi slot?

Because the slot is wired for PCIe (2.0 x1), not SATA.

Not sure why you expected this to work.
