Ight
So I fully installed the uefi firmware by using the paperclip method and I was thinking: “ I have a 32GB EMMC storage and want to install windows 11 ( From Microsoft ), will it not fill up my storage?” I mean, windows 11 takes up to 40GB after installation, I just want to get rid of the bloat.
I don’t really want to try from an Indian YouTube tutorial, so I’m asking you guys, got any solutions before I go ahead?
( Chromebook model BOOKEM )
An exaggeration lol, but fair.
Have you tried giving windows 11 iot ltsc enterprise a try? You can’t download it straight from Microsoft, but you can check the checksums from downloading via archive.org. Think of it as unbloated windows with official Microsoft support. If you still need the Microsoft store that can easily been enabled.
And the best part about it - we actually support it
Try compressing the install.
Thanks! I just installed it now and now setting up the drivers.
About the touchpad drivers, there’s some checkmarks in different drivers, should I just choose all of them or one for my model, I don’t know which driver matches for my model.
Thanks
Installing them all is the best route. They take up very very little space and your chromebook just wont use what it doesn’t need
A little help, now my chromebook is using 22GB of storage, so 7GB left ( I just installed chrome and steam ).
I tried the compactos command. disabling reserved storage and other cmd command lines ( + Using external drives )
Is this fine?
7gb is relatively plenty if you dont need to install anything else. If youre worried, it may be worth it to install some programs externally
