ACER Spin 514 Multiple Driver Issue

Sound on my Chromebook is not working after following the instructions in the AMD sound package.

I am also having issues with the touchpad not wanting to responding and when it does it is extremely laggy however a usb mouse is smooth (was working but seemed to be an issue post windows security update). I uninstalled the update but not getting any luck ).

my PC is not giving the option to connect to wifi, I have to use a USB-C to ethernet dongle

sorry for the laundry list of information if anyone has any tips theyd be much appreciated.

EDIT: I reinstalled windows fresh and was able to avoid both the touchpad and the audio issue by blocking windows update in both GPO and services

remaining issues I am having:

ethernet/usb c adapter constantly disconnecting

missing wifi drivers

AMD Radeon app will not install and the direct path to the driver is missing in the c drive presumably due to AMD updating their software install

EDIT 2: I was able to find the WIFI NIC Driver:

https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds550117-realtek-8852ae-wireless-lan-driver-for-windows-10-64-bit-version-1809-or-later-thinkpad-11e-5th-gen-thinkpad-yoga-11e-5th-gen

after a reboot you will have the option to connect via WiFi

remaining issues:

Ethernet/USB hub constantly disconnecting

AMD Radeon drivers still not installed

  • I found that I had an unknown device that turned out to be AMD Virtual Buttons. I installed the following drivers and device manager accepted the driver install. not sure if this is what was meant to be installed via coolstar tutorial page but still posting:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Unknown-Device-Drive-missing/td-p/8172692

will update as I continue to figure this out. Just trying to help anyone who may have a 514 and is running into the issues I was having

EDIT 3: found the Radeon 3 Drivers:

https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-si/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=rhgjg

after install navigate to device manager/dispaly adapter

should see generic windows driver

update the driver manualy and navigate to:

and choose the UXXXXXX file
