System Details
- Device: [BARD]
- OS: [Linux Mint 22.2 and 22.3]
- Firmware Type: [UEFI Full ROM]
- Firmware Version: [As reported by the script]
- Internal storage type: [eMMC] (if applicable)
Summary of the Issue
When installing LM 22.2 or 22.3 I get an eMMC write error and the install quits. 22.1 does load fine.
Steps to Reproduce
-
Install from live USB
-
during install it prompts a write error to eMMC
Expected Behavior
[What should have happened?] It should have installed and not errored out.
I’m happy with 22.1 so I will use it. On this Acer CB715 the sound doesn’t work even with the weirdtreething work around. Again, I can live with it as this is the 2nd CB715 I’ve put Mint on and I would prefer LM over Google’s tentacles watching every move.
