I’m not too sure if this post would be relevant on this site, I recently got a Lenovo 300w gen 3 with a malfunctioning keyboard and touchpad. I could not find any affordable housing replacements for a 300w, but I found a really good deal on a palmrest, keyboard and touchpad chassis assembly for its Chromebook sister model, the 300e gen 3.
Would it be possible to put the 300w into the 300e chassis and connect the display assembly/hinge with it, and for it to work? As far as I know, they both have AMD 3015 series processors. I might even install Chromeos on the 300w to use it as a psuedo chromebook.
