-
Does not find 64 bit OS

Could this be that the latest firmware cannot even see the UFS disk? This worked perfectly with your November firmware
Thank you.
Keith
is the UFS listed in the boot menu?
there was no change from the previous firmware in terms of UFS support, all of the changes were in 2509.2 at the beginning of Nov
Yes, the UFS shows in the boot menu as Internal UFS (WDC )
Maybe doing a grub-update to force a rewrite? Nothing changed on the Void side; only the firmware update.
Thank you for the quick response!
Keith
I fixed it by booting to a Void USB, chrooting to the mounted FS, and running grub-install.
Interestingly, it created a new “void” directory under EFI in addition to the “void_grub” that was already there.
But the laptop booted like a champ after that.
Just wondering why it worked flawlessly before the latest firmware update?
Thanks!
Keith
sounds like there was a grub change that just happened to coincide with your reboot after flashing.
you can always remove the non-working entry and move the working one to the top
