Hi, I have a SWANKY. I removed the WP screw (it was an adhesive, conductive washer), I tested for continuity across the pads and it measured “open”, I reassembled the case, entered Developer Mode, downloaded the script, but I’m getting an indication that “Fw WP: Enabled” (in red), which afaict prevents Option 2) “Install/Update UEFI (Full ROM) Firmware

Hmm. I think perhaps the heat spreader is reconnecting across the pads? Yes, actually. I covered the pads with some label tape, and now WP is off. So, maybe a precaution is needed in the instructions?
