A few months ago, I installed Linux, and then Wine on my Chromebook. Using Wine to play FNF mods, it ran great, with 60fps without stuttering. Recently, I opened a mod and when I opened it and played, I got little to no fps (15-20fps). In doing so, the rest of the mods began to act up. When the window was bigger in size, the less FPS I would get. I had to size the window down by a large chunk to get solid FPS. Full screening it has the FPS sit at 30. What do I do?!
This isn’t the forum for this, the chrultrabook project is for running Linux as an alternative to Chrome OS, not inside of it.
That being said, the default Linux VM in Chrome OS is not accelerated and uses software rendering to provide graphics. It shouldn’t really be able to run much of anything playably. It’s not meant for that and won’t do it.
