I’m running Ubuntu 23.10 on an HP Chromebook 14a (Gemini Lake/BLOOGLET). Everything works great out of box, for the most part. However, whenever I reboot, the volume is set to 100%. I’ve tried running ‘sudo alsactl store’. The setting appears to be stored, and after a reboot I can see that the volume slider is right where I left it, but when I play any audio, the output is full volume. I have touch the slider or tap the ± volume buttons to get it to register the lower volume setting. Any suggestions to get it to stay post-reboot?
Did you use weirdtreethings audio script, as mentioned in the docs.
Also note, ubuntu isnt supported, while newer versions should work, we dont support it
